The PADI Seal Team Experience at Scubaversity

Is your child looking for their next big challenge? If they've already conquered the bathtub and the backyard pool, it's time to take their aquatic skills to the next level. In 2026, scuba diving isn't just for grown-ups — it's a high-tech, action-packed hobby for the next generation of explorers.

PADI Seal Team is built for exactly that: action-packed fun in a pool, completed through a series of exciting AquaMissions. Think of it as a junior espionage service — participants don real scuba equipment and complete specialised underwater tasks designed to build confidence, teamwork and diving proficiency, all while having a blast with their friends.

Beyond the Basics: Missions for Modern Explorers

The programme features specialised challenges including flashlight diving, underwater photography and weightless hovering techniques. Beyond foundational skills like breathing and mask clearing, participants can unlock specialty missions covering wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy control and environmental conservation. Every session is built around adventure and camaraderie among young divers, turning skills practice into a genuine team experience.

Who Can Join the Team?

Eligibility is simple: participants need to be at least eight years old, comfortable in the water, and have parental permission. No prior scuba experience is necessary — Seal Team is designed to be a first introduction to real scuba gear in a safe, supervised pool environment.

Why Start Now?

Starting at age eight gives young divers a real head start, building muscle memory and confidence long before they're ready to pursue Junior Open Water certification at age ten. Updated digital learning materials also mean the fun can begin at home, with kids arriving at the pool already excited and prepared for their first AquaMission.
